Jasmine “Jaz” Parks (she/they) is a transdisciplinary artist, educator, and the one-woman show of Childlike Creative. She creates spaces where joy, learning, and honest expression converge. Her creative practice is shaped by a deep commitment to both relationships and results, allowing her to lead with empathy while producing meaningful, impactful work.

She works across disciplines — visual design, storytelling, performance, and education — using a resourceful approach to transform materials and moments into meaningful experiences. Her work draws from architecture, ethics, education, and community development, creating a richly layered artistic voice that is intentional, playful, and purpose-driven.

Childlike Creative is a small business and brand that uses art and community for social good. Jaz leads all design, content, product development, and community engagement. Every piece is made with care — guided by sustainability, joy, and connection.

Sustainability Ambassador with SpaceJunk | SpaceCraft Knoxville (2025)

Spacecraft is a local artist co-op dreamed up by Jaleria Rivera in Knoxville, TN. SpaceJunk is a creative reuse store within Spacecraft gifted the opportunity with the lovely artists and stewards through The Bottom Knoxville. The goal is to use the power of creative reuse to supply The Bottom with curated art supplies for their workshops during the entire duration of the music festival. In addition to the work Jaz is doing with SpaceJunk, she is also leading various workshops using those materials at the festival.

Panelist – Artful Sustainability (2024)
Spoke on a panel of artists and creators about sustainable practices in the art world. Focused on the role of resourceful creativity and social responsibility in building an environmentally conscious practice.

A Childlike Christmas Show (2024)
A full-length original show produced and performed by Jaz Parks.

Creative Teaching & Community Work

Jaz’s teaching practice spans formal classrooms, informal workshops, and grassroots community programs. As an educator and facilitator, she prioritizes relational engagement without sacrificing structure and outcome.

  • Led youth and adult English language programs for Centro Hispano and Knoxville International Network
