Happy Birthday Mail Club is a monthly mail club subscription that includes:
exclusive mail club art print
a recipe card
a media card of music, artists, film + tv, and books
handwritten affirmation letter of encouragement
monthly “candlesticks” (people out in the world doing good work and being the light)
a small trinket
Happy Birthday Mail Club “Cake” will be sent out on the 20th of each month.
Subscribe before the 15th of each month to be included in that month’s mail club “cake”. All subscriptions made after the 15th of the month will be included in the following month’s mail club “cake”. Once subscribed, it will renew monthly until you choose to end the service.
Why Start a Mail Club?
It is the perfect way to aid my writing practice, which you can subscribe to on Substack, and serve as an act of care the old-fashioned way: via snail mail! This project is a combination of all the things I love and a great way to get to know me as a creative in all my forms: as a writer, visual artist, chef?, film + tv lover, a reader, and as a person who’s in your corner rooting for you and wanting to spread positivity in my own way. My hope is by sharing these “gifts” each month with you, they will be received with excitement, anticipation, and joy—just as when you open a gift on your birthday. I hope the intention and craft that I put into this project will help club members feel cared for and connected to a community in a unique, specific-to-me, yet universal way.
